DEVELOPMENT of holiday resort products will become the key for the city’s tourism industry in 2011 and construction of the holiday resort projects will be sped up.

The city will keep promoting ten holiday resort projects such as Langyatai, spa, Fenghuang Island and Lingshan Bay holiday resort areas this year and finish construction of projects such as Fantawild Amusement Park and Zangma Village Holiday Resort Area.

High-end hotels will also be promoted.

Qingdao will learn from Hawaii in the United States to become an international city of tourism in the future, officials from the city’s tourism bureau said.
