THE Overseas Chinese International Hotel plans to become a high-end hotel with more new products and better services in six months, creating a better environment for travelers.

    Established in 1936, the hotel, then named Xinxin Hotel, used to be a high-profile hotel offering services to foreign government delegations. It was famous for its Shandong cuisine, winning a high reputation among overseas Chinese. In the 1960s, Xinxin Hotel was renamed Overseas Chinese Hotel and created a unique style in cuisine.

    In 2003, the hotel merged with a sister hotel to become the Overseas Chinese International Hotel, a State-owned hotel under the administration of Huatong State-owned Capital Operation Co. Ltd.

    Located on Hong Kong Road Central, the hotel has given its best services to Chinese and foreign guests. And since having a four-month interior decoration in 2009, it has becomeone of the most elegant and grandest hotel in the city.

    There are more than 160 rooms with different styles to meet customers’ different demands, such as the ocean view suite, Japanese and South Korean-style rooms and Chinese-style rooms. As well as the guest rooms, there are also several well-facilitated conference rooms of different sizes and restaurants offering delicacies from Shandong and around the world.
