Bumblebees from the Netherlands pollinate tomatoes in a greenhouse in Dahuangbu Village, Mingcun Township, Pingdu.

    Bumblebees are very suitable for working in greenhouses at low temperatures and under low light. Each bee can visit 17 flowers in one minute, which can increase output by 35 percent. At present, more and more villages in the town have started using bumblebees in the greenhouses.
