QINGDAO will promote industrial upgrading and economic transformation through more than 1,000 key technology innovation projects, 200 key industrial technologies and 100 key new-industry technologies and supporting more than 20 industrial design projects this year, according to a plan announced recently.

    According to the plan, the city will promote the innovation technologies in seven key industries, including advanced manufacturing, new material, information and e-business.
