Local TV drama aired
    2011-03-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A QINGDAO-MADE TV drama starring top domestic actors and actresses has been screened.

Named “Factory Flower,” the 32-episode TV drama tells the story of a beautiful worker who fights against her undesirable destiny in the early 1980s.

The drama, produced by Qingdao TV Station, started airing on Qingdao’s TV channel from March 26. Many domestic satellite TV stations have expressed intentions to buy the TV drama.

The director of the TV drama, Zha Xiaoxin, grew up in Qingdao and integrated his memories and love of the city into the works.

In the drama, old Qingdao streets, including Rongcheng, Laiyang and Jinkou roads, can be found. Qingdao Double-Peach Specialty Chemicals Group’s old factories are also used as the setting.
