AN ecological tire manufacturing technology has become an important one of the country’s key projects, winning a national technology fund of 14.68 million yuan.

    The project, which also includes research and marketing, is about retreading tire using green technology to make ecological tires using fewer energy and resources.

    When it is completed, the sales revenue is expected to reach 392.5 million yuan with 72 million yuan in profit. Meanwhile, each year it can save 970 million yuan in energy and 1.862 billion yuan in raw materials, and cut carbon dioxide emission of 2.166 million tons.
