Students produce a giant earth painting
    2011-04-05  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A 240-SQUARE-METER giant painting was recently produced on the ground by students of Qingdao No. 6 Middle School.

The students used chalks to frame the painting and graced it with colors. The work featured a list of architecture and items representing Qingdao’s characteristics, including Zhanqiao Pier, Ocean Bay Bridge and Tsingtao Beer. The innovative and colorful painting was well received by the residents.

Earth painting is a traditional program in the school. There were 20 teams participating in the activity. Students from Qingdao No. 7, 24 and 26 Middle School were also invited to finish the work in two hours.

The giant work will be kept at the school and become a fixture there.
