QINGDAO will fund the restoration of a sea-side stone column which is dubbed as “The Stone Old Man” for its shape.

    The 20-meter-tall high stone column, which stands more than 100 meters from the city’s eastern coast, has been suffering efflorescence. Professional institutions will be invited to study the restoration and protection of the stone column.
