QINGDAO plans to promote 77 key tourism projects with a total investment of about 128 billion yuan this year. Among these, 42 projects with a total investment of 60 billion yuan are now under construction, including 20 which will finish construction at the end of this year. Preliminary work for 35 other projects will start this year with a total investment of about 68 billion yuan.

    There are 15 holiday resorts under construction such as Qingshi Bay ecological scenery park, five entertaining projects such as Marine Carnival and Yuhuang Mountain ski field, 12 cultural scenery projects such as the navy museum and 32 high-end hotel projects such as a Hilton Hotel and a Four Seasons Hotel.
