    2011-04-20  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Guests at the launch ceremony of the French Culture Week.

    郑杰升 福田区外国语学校初一(14)班

The 2011 French Culture Week and the 8th annual French Cinema Panorama was unveiled at Shenzhen Jinyi International Cinema in the afternoon of April 10 and closed on April 16.

During the event, 10 French feature films and 10 short films, including light comedy “Copacabana” and documentary film “Oceans” were showcased. All screenings were in French with Chinese subtitles.

French artists, including directors Jacques Cluzaud, Marc Fitoussi, Christine Gendre, Alix Delaporte and composer Evgueni Galperine, attended the news conference on April 10. Then we junior journalists interviewed the director Jacques Cluzaud about his latest documentary film “Oceans.”

It is an incredible movie about wonderful creatures living in the oceans. The movie has some superbly angled shots, beautiful scenery, a remarkable score and deep resonance.
