QINGDAO made achievements in attracting investment and upgrading industrial projects in the first three months.

    Among the 305 projects, 212 with total investment of 130 billion yuan have already made agreements with the city. Among these, 28 projects have already finished and 102 projects are still under construction, while 55 projects have already started preparing and 27 projects just signed contracts with the city.

    Since early this year, the city has announced 165 project plans with total investment of more than 55.7 billion yuan and 463 industrial upgrading plans with total investment of more than 152 billion yuan.

    Since 2009, the city has announced 683 industrial upgrading plans and as of the first quarter this year, 307 projects with total investment of 73.8 billion yuan have already finished and their output was expected to reach 146 billion yuan in the future. Among the 463 projects announced this year, 87 projects with investment of 12.5 billion yuan have already started operation and their revenues were expected to reach 30 billion yuan in the future.
