RECENTLY, cherry blossoms in Qingdao Zhongshan Park are in full bloom. Cherry blossoms were introduced to Qingdao by Germans as early as 1902. At the park, the flowers form a 660-meter-long cherry blossom road, allowing visitors to enjoy a pink fairy world. The cherry blossoms have been listed as one of the 10 most attractive sceneries in Qingdao. Residents take the blooming cherry blossoms as a symbol of spring and a lot of them go to the park to enjoy a spring trip. (Jane Lai) |
