    Dana: Not sexy enough. Home or away?

    Ashley: Away.

    Dana: Let me guess. On his private jet which he flies himself?

    Ashley: So wrong. He has a pilot.

    Dana: Speaking of dates. Hello? We should try to find the dragon lady one for the bash. That way, she won’t be all over us, watching our every move.

    Ashley: Mm. Good luck. Men of Peggy’s caliber don’t exactly take ads in the Yellow Pages.

    Maggie: Could you possibly idolize her any more?

    Ashley: What? She’s sophisticated, glamorous, gets invited everywhere... and never has to stay home because she has nothing to wear.

    Maggie: Right. Nothing to wear.

    Dana: Wee, wee, wee.

    Ashley: Coming!

    Dana: I’ll get it.

    Dana: I’m coming.

    Ashley: I’m coming! Find an outfit.

    Dana: I found one. Ooh, ooh, ooh. Whoa. Who is that?

    Ashley: Down, girl. You’re drooling on my doormat. Oh, it’s my next-door neighbor.

    Dana: Who?

    Ashley: Shh. Antonio.

    Antonio: Oh, hey, Ashley.

    Ashley: Hey.

    Antonio: Your dry cleaning was delivered while you were out, so I took it.

    Ashley: Oh, you are such an angel. Thank you.

    Antonio: I do what I can. Big date tonight?

    Ashley: Kind of big. You?

    Antonio: Ah, every night is date night. Okay, I’ll see you then.

    Ashley: Thanks.

    Dana: Bye. Oh, hey, Antonio. Are you free next Thursday?

    Antonio: I’m never free. What did you have in mind?

    Ashley: Well, you won’t want to miss this. Masquerade Records is throwing an outrageous promo party. Food, fun, dancing... and a blind date with my boss.

    Antonio: Your boss? What’s she like?

    Ashley: She’s very smart, strong, an independent woman.

    Antonio: Is she good-looking?

    Ashley: Of course.

    Antonio: Okay, look, if you think we’ll hit it off, then that’s good enough for me.

    Ashley: Oh, you’re the best. Thank you so much. Bye. Oh, yes! A date for the dragon lady. You know, this isn’t mine.

    Maggie: Whose is it?

    Ashley: Oh! Sarah Jessica Parker’s.

    Dana: What?

    Ashley: Not kidding.

    Dana: I did not know Sarah Jessica Parker lived in your building. Oh, my God. And look, it’s Dolce.

    Ashley: Oh, my gosh. I can return it tomorrow.

    Dana: Let me look. Oh, yes. Your size. What are the odds?

    Maggie: Don’t be jealous.

    Ashley: You know, this might actually look cute on me.

    Maggie: You should totally wear it tonight.

    Dana: Yeah, I’m gonna need some chocolate now.

    Maggie: I’m gonna need some milk.

    Ashley: I’m gonna go try on the dress.

    妙词佳语，活学活用

    1. home or away?: 主场还是客场? 在比赛中，我们常用home和away来表示主客场。

    2. dragon lady: “龙夫人”。Ashley将Miss Braden称为“dragon lady” 是形容她非常严厉。

    3. bash: 美国俚语中，bash用来指“舞会，大型派对”，而bash的本意是指“猛击，重敲”，例如：He bashed the door in and entered the room. 他破门进入房间。

    9. hit it off：和得来。在这里，Antonio的意思是“如果你觉得我们会来电的话”。

    10. What are the odds？：Dana说这句话的意思是，莎拉·杰西卡·帕克（《欲望都市》女角主扮演者）的衣服错送到你这里，还恰好是你的尺寸，“你还指望什么呢？”我们平时还用What are the odds so long as you are happy?来表示“知足者常乐”。
