    Medal volunteers

    A TOTAL of 350 college students from around the country have been selected as volunteers to help present medals during the Games.

    There are 60 male volunteers, who will help to present medals for women’s sports.

    The volunteers will start receiving protocol training from July 1 and conduct rehearsals in the seven days before the Games.

    Flag raisers

    A NATIONWIDE selection has started for male college volunteers to raise and lower flags at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games.

    College students can e-mail to shengqiyishi2011@163.com before May 15 to apply.

    The results will be announced at the end of next month.

    Games stamps

    A SET of Universiade commemorative stamps has been issued by China Post. The set consists of four stamps featuring the Games’ emblem, mascot, main venue and slogan.
