A TOTAL of 25 sailors from Qingdao went to participate in an international sailing competition held recently in South Korea in five Beneteau First 40 yachts.

    Beneteau is a leading brand in yacht making. In 2010, the city’s association of sailing bought 10 Beneteau First 40 and all participated in the Dalian-Qingdao Sailing Rally last year. This was the first time the yachts joined in international competition. There will be sailing teams from China, Japan, South Korea and Russia in the competition.
