泰勒·摩森将离开《绯闻女孩》 第五季仅做客串演出 The rumors about “Gossip Girl” are true: Taylor Momsen has been discarded as a series regular. TV Line revealed on Monday that the teen star, who played Jenny Humphrey during the first four seasons of the CW young adult soap opera, will not return as a series regular during the fifth season. This follows her vastly reduced role in the past season as she took time off to work on her music career with The Pretty Reckless and create controversy. In November, it was reported that she had been suspended from the show; CW countered that she was a regular, with a reduced role because of “creative reasons.” Just recently, the 17-year-old Momsen has performed in provocative outfits. Her “Makes Me Want to Die” music video raised controversy for suggestive behavior. Jessica Szohr, who played Vanessa Abrams, had a reduced role in season four as well. She has a budding indie film career. Both stars will have the opportunity make guest appearances on the show going forward. In light of the departures, recurring guest star Kaylee DeFer, who plays Serena’s cousin Charlie Rhodes, will be promoted to a series regular in the fall.(SD-Agencies) |
