    On April 30, we junior English reporters learned how to be news anchors while using English.

    I knew that an anchor or news reader is a professional who specializes in broadcasting information about current affairs.

    News anchors analyze and broadcast news for radio and TV stations. They announce the time, weather, news, traffic and so on.

    I was very happy but a little bit nervous while facing the video. I introduced myself in English and sent my best wishes to the Universiade. Although this was my first time to practice as a news anchor, I was proud of the confident way in which I fulfilled my duties.

    With the encouragement of the teacher, other junior English reporters went to the stage to express their hopes for the Universiade.

    Aspiring radio and television news anchors must have a mastery of the English language both written and spoken. I will study English hard and practice more. With the 26th Universiade so near, I must try my best to work hard and become an excellent news anchor.
