Children’s literary forum
    2011-05-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE 2011 Cross-Straits children’s literature forum was held in Qingdao between May 7 and 9, attracting top writers of children literature from Taiwan and the mainland.

The city’s biggest and highest-level children literature exchange, the forum opened with the theme “pass happy reading to children,” in which writers gave lectures and exchanged views on the development trend in children’s literature, the difference in children’s literature between Taiwan and the mainland, as well as the cultural industry.

Six writers from Taiwan, who were in the company of Cao Wenxuan, a well-known writer on the mainland, visited seven primary schools to interact with students.

The forum was organized by Qingdao Publishing Group, Qingdao Broadcasting and TV Station, and the children’s literary research institute at Ocean University of China.(Li Hao, Jiang Shan)
