    2011-05-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO will help enhance the skills of 200,000 technicians with a series of skill competitions to be held over the next five years. A creative studio for technicians will also be built in the city.

Suggestions by the city’s employees will be increased by 6 percent every year and the number of employee suggestions will be 120,000 in 2015. At least 40 percent will be put into effect. Creative projects by the employees will reach 30,000 and inventions will reach 10,000 in five years. Of these, at least 30 percent will be done by employees from private companies.

More than 70 percent companies will hold skill competitions in the next five years and at least 500 companies will have competitions to select creative professionals, creative positions and outstanding workers. Meanwhile, high-end technicians and models will take the lead to promote their experience. The companies will also promote energy saving among employees.
