Eco garden to be built
    2011-05-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

AN ecological park will be built by China and Germany in Qingdao.

The garden is planned to occupy 10 square kilometers, and the first phase will be built on four square kilometers.

A working team held the first meeting in the Qingdao Development Zone on May 10. A working plan for the project was signed at the meeting.

The park will serve as a platform for communications between the two countries in setting energy-saving and environmental protection standards, developing new technology, researching energy-saving and ecological buildings, training professionals, and planning an ecological city.

The next work meeting will be held at the end of the year.
