Progress made in business outsourcing

THE city won two outsourcing construction projects worth US$299.74 million in the first three months of this year, increasing by 375.7 percent compared with the same period last year.

A power plant construction project signed between Tiejun Power Construction Co. Ltd. and an Indian power company worth US$299.64 million, was the biggest outsourcing construction project signed, and would help increase the city’s export volume of equipment and raw materials.

The sales of the outsourcing construction industry in the first three months has increased by 81.41 percent compared with the same period last year, in which sales for the industry in March amounted to US$173.54 million. (Wang Yuanyuan, Shen Junlin)
