MORE than 55,000 residents in Qingdao are expected to experience the fun of sailing this year with the launch of a sailing promotion. They will finish a training program by the Olympic Sailing Center and have fun.

It is the first time the city has launched such a promotion. The city has built nine sailing training bases and implemented 10 sailing lectures. Nearly 100 coaches have been invited to teach. They planned to give 200 more lectures and launch 5,600 sailing training events this year.

The city will build two more training bases and implement 10 sailing lecture bases this year.
