THE city’s 65 national-level projects for introducing overseas talent won 2.93 million yuan in subsidies from the Central Government, increasing by 38 percent on last year.

    Among these 65 projects, three were national key projects, including a blue economy project which will introduce talent from countries such as Russia and Ukraine. The project has won 1.45 million yuan in subsidies from the Central Government. The city’s semiconductor research center, which will introduce researchers and technology from Russia, will provide related products and technological services to several national key space projects.
