THE finishing touches are being put on the 7.8-kilometer undersea tunnel at Jiaozhou Bay in the city.

    When completed, the 3.298-billion-yuan tunnel will be the country’s longest and world’s third longest.

    The tunnel is scheduled to open June 30.

    Meanwhile, the Haiwan Bridge is also close to completion. It is expected to open June 30.
