THE Chinese badminton team won their 8th Sudirman Cup after thrilling competition with Denmark on May 29.

    The Qingdao Municipal Government held a celebration party for the team at the Sea View Garden Hotel after the award ceremony.

    In the mixed doubles final, Ma Jin and Xu Chen were in their best form to beat the Danish team and won the first point, while Lin Dan won the second point for China in the men’s singles final. The third final was the men’s double. Cai Bin and Fu Haifeng won the game easily in two rounds.
