    2011-06-07  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE 2011 Qingdao Wine & Food Festival, which ended recently at the Olympic Sailing Center, has attracted about 25,000 visitors around the world. Nearly 20 activities were held during the annual event.

Jointly organized by the municipal governments of Qingdao and Miami in the United States, more than 200 types of wine from more than 10 countries and regions such as Italy, France, Australia, Germany, Argentina and South Africa, were exhibited at the festival. Visitors could have the chance to taste some world famous wines at the fair, experiencing the different sensation brought by different wines.

Activities such as a forum on the development of the wine industry, wine-tasting parties and a pizza-eating competition were also held during the fair.
