Rest in hotel. D02: Xining/Lhasa (B,L) Visit the Kumbum Monastery and Qinghai Lake. Take train in the afternoon (about 26 hours: 14:56-15:40 the second day). D03: Qinghai-Tibet Railway Enjoy beautiful scenes along the railway. Check in to the hotel in Lhasa. D04: Lhasa (B,L,D) In the morning, visit the imposing Potala Palace (the highest palace in the world). In the afternoon, visit the Jokhang Temple, also known as the Tibetans’ Mecca. Then stroll around the famous shopping bazaar along Barkhor Street. D05: Lhasa (B,L,D) After breakfast visit Drepung Monastery, one of the “great three” Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet, the other two being Ganden and Sera. Then visit Sera Monastery. D06: Lhasa/Namtso Lake/Lhasa (B,L,D) Visit Namtso Lake. Back to Lhasa. D07: Lhasa/Chengdu/Shenzhen (B) Transfer to Lhasa airport after breakfast. Fly back home.
