FOURTEEN new car parks with 4,000 parking spaces will open this year to meet the increasing demand for parking.

    They include the Badaxia Square car park between Wuxia Road and Wuxi Road, the Nanjing Road car park on Nanjing Road, the No. 2 Stadium car park in Shibei District, the car park on Anshan Road 2, Junfeng Road car park and Siliu Road Central car park.

    An air raid shelter on Xianggang Road West and another near Hailun Square in Sifang District will also serve as temporary car parks. Some of the roads and unused land will also allow temporary parking.
