AN express train will run between Qingdao and Shanghai Hongqiao Station, a news conference was told June 13.

Express trains will also run from Beijing South Station to Fuzhou, Tianjin West Station to Hangzhou and Zhengzhou to Jinan.

The travel time from Beijing to Shanghai by express train at the speed of 300kmph is only four hours 48 minutes, said Hu Yadong, vice minister of Ministry of Railway at the news conference.
