WHEATFIELDS covering an area of 280,000 hectares in Zhangjiatun Village in Jiaozhou have started reaping recently.

There are more than 7,800 wheat harvesters in the city at the moment and there are plans to bring in more than 4,000 harvesters from other cities. There will be 12,000 harvesters working in the fields during the peak of harvest. Seventy-two reception stations have been set up in the wheatfields to provide services for wheat reaping.
