QINGDAO will hold an international promotion to attract innovative start-ups and 426 high-caliber professionals between July 28 and 29.

    The promotion is expected to alleviate the city’s urgent need of professionals in medical care, education, sports, literature, art, science and technology, engineering design and electric information.

    Each professional who is deemed urgently needed by the city will be able to live in a 100-square-meter apartment with a three-year rental exemption.

    In addition, the city government has set up a 70,000-square-meter center to accommodate the start-ups of sought-after professionals.
