A METRO Line 3 train rolled back to Henggang Station on Monday after a suspension clamp holding cables became loose. The train from Shuanglong to Caopu suddenly came to a stop at around 8 p.m. after it left Henggang Station, a Daily Sunshine report said, quoting passengers. “We were told it was a mechanical failure and there was no need to worry. But after a while, the train started to roll back slowly,” a passenger said. It took about half an hour for the train to roll back to Henggang Station. Services resumed at 9:07 p.m. The Shenzhen Metro company said the incident happened when a suspension clamp worked loose. The incident caused delays along the line. (Han Ximin) |
