SHENZHEN Metro Co. launched a Metro fare calculator on its official Web site yesterday for commuters to check the cost of trips.

By logging onto www.szmtr.net/main/dtyy/201105197157.shtml, users can click the place of departure and destination on the five Metro lines and the system will automatically calculate the fare and show it on the screen. The system is now being tested.
