THE city government has put into effect a regulation on planning to improve the urban environment.

    It will regulate the installment of outdoor advertisements and poses a strict control of the development and use of underground space.

    Construction of the underground projects for the use of transportation, parking and storing will be required to obtain a government permit, according to the regulation.

    In addition, construction of temporary structures will be forbidden unless they are for the use of public service.

    The regulation also details requirements on the protection of the city’s historic buildings and the city government will classify and protect the historic buildings.
