QINGDAO Airport launched a new cargo air route connecting Qingdao, Nanjing and Jinan June 23. The air route, run by China Postal Airlines, will have a flight each day except on Mondays. It connects Qingdao and Jinan to the EMS sorting center in Nanjing. The new offering will enable EMS mails from Qingdao to arrive at any major city in the country the next morning. Each flight will add about 10,000 tons in cargo volume to Qingdao Airport each year. An EMS sorting center is also planned in Qingdao Airport. The SF Express Airlines will also launch an air route involving Qingdao Airport after UPS and EMS. (Chen Ting, Wang Yu) |
