Garbage transfer station in plan
    2011-07-05  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A GARBAGE transfer station equipped with cutting-edge technology is to be built in Qingdao, said the city’s urban and rural construction bureau.

The station, located to the west of Loushan River Sewage Treatment Plant, will occupy an area of 100,000 square meters and is the largest in the country.

It is expected to have a daily garbage treatment capacity of 4,000 tons.

The station is equipped with an advanced garbage weighing system, garbage compression system, odor removal system, and central computer control system.

Garbage in Shinan, Shibei, Sifang, Licang and Chengyang districts will be transferred to the station after it’s completed.
