THE city’s high-caliber professional start-up service center has been inviting innovative overseas talent to establish start-ups. Covering an area of 68,000 square meters, there are two sections of the center in Laoshan District and an economic and technology development zone. The center can accommodate at least 200 start-ups. The center will provide a series of preferential policies such as rent exemption, capital support and housing subsidies. The innovative professionals or teams who set up start-ups in the center will be given one-year of free office space no less than 110 square meters. In the following years, a discount on rent will be offered. In addition, the center will provide services regarding start-up consultation, public policy, taxation, business mediation, product display, financing, human resources, legal consultation and accountancy consultation. Medium and large-sized domestic enterprises as well as development and research institutes are also invited to set up branches in the center.
