Sightseeing double-deckers to hit the road
    2011-07-19  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A TOTAL of 10 sightseeing double-decker buses are expected to hit the road at the end of this month.

The 12.7m-long, 4.2m-high red double-decker has 10 tires to ensure a smooth running.

Glass windows are installed all around the second floor of the vehicle, promising a broad view.

“The sightseeing double-decker will cover coastal resorts in the city,”said Qu Guoqing, manager of Qingdao Jiaoyun Wenxin Bus Co.

The buses will connect the city’s landmark resorts like Luxun Park, Qingdao Underwater World and May 4th Square, which is expected to alleviate the heavy traffic pressure in the coastal resorts during peak periods.
