THERE are currently 20 national-level enterprise technology centers in Qingdao.

    According to statistics, products from the 192 technology centers in the city made revenue of 383 billion yuan in 2009 and 55.6 percent of the patents applied for were from the centers.

    As of now, 12 enterprise centers have received Central Government subsidies of more than 40 million yuan, while the city has also given out 1.5 million yuan to support each center since 2001.
