THE first freight train between Qingdao and Guangzou set off from Lancun Rail Station in Qingdao recently, providing fast, cheap and efficient transportation between Shandong peninsula and Guangdong Province.

    There is one freight train between the station in Jimo, Qingdao, and Changxi Rail Station in Guangzhou every day. Each train can load 560 tons of cargo.
