LOCAL residents were invited for the first time to visit the city’s archives warehouse to learn about the history of Qingdao on July 15.

    On the same day, the warehouse opened a video-on-demand system, which contains almost 80,000 minutes of video material dated back to the 1930s.

    The video material falls under 13 categories, such as news, urban roads, urban resorts, urban architecture, urban landscaping, folk customs and local operas.
