Beer festival to kick off
    2011-07-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE 21st Qingdao International Beer Festival is scheduled to be held at Qingdao International Beer City between Aug. 13 and 28.

There will be 17 venues totaling more than 30,000 square meters.

In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, the annual festival will include beer drinking, carnival and performances.

Well-known beer brands from all over the world are expected to have a presence at the festival.

This year’s beer festival will for the first time include a concert. Art troupes from Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States will give performances during the festival.

The mascot of the festival, a rabbit named “Duoduo,” debuted July 20.
