 SEVERAL cultural relics at the Qingdao Museum have been upgraded to national level, according to an investigation by experts from the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. Five relics became national A-level relics, while there were 40 B-level relics and 154 C-level relics. These would remain on exhibition at the museum. Experts had examined 267 relics at the museum to help provide better protection. According to Zhu Fenghan, former president of the National Museum of China, some of the relics were important in the study of administrative planning and industrial development in ancient China.
