THE city will construct four large agricultural bases in the next five years, according to a government document.

    Such an ambition will be pursued with the completion of 100 planned modern agricultural parks, 100 competent agricultural enterprises, 1,000 farming cooperatives and 1,000 competent farming families.

    The city will plan six large-scale agricultural production areas of vegetables, tea, fruit, aquatic products, animal by-products, grain and edible oil, as well as trees and woods.

    In addition, the city will plan and construct five production bases of five local agricultural products.

    The city will also strive to develop six clusters of exporting enterprises of agricultural products, including peanuts, vegetables, meat, aquatic products, flowers and timber.
