Where's my money?
    2011-08-03  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Joke of the Week

A man from the suburb of London went to an occasional trip to Monte Carlo. Luckily he won over 500,000 euros.

Back home the next day he did not bring the money to the bank where he had his account because he was afraid that bank clerk would start to investigate. The place where he lived was small and the people were not so fair, so he didn't want them to know about his windfall.

He decided to dig a hole in his garden and hide the money in a waterproof box.

The next day, returning home from work he noticed footprints from the gate to his backyard. Following the footprints he found that someone entered in his property and stole his treasure.

The footprints led to the house of his neighbor. He remembered his neighbor was deaf and mute. Fortunately he remembered close to him lived a woman able to communicate with the language of the deaf-mute.

He took a gun, went to the woman's house and dragged her to the door of the deaf-mute. He rang the bell. When the guy opened the door he said to the woman:

"Explain to him I will kill him if he don't say immediately where he hid my money."

The woman turned the question to the deaf-mute who explained with signs that he had hidden the box in the cellar. Then the woman turned to the man with the gun and said:

"This guy told me he would rather be killed then tell you where he hid the money."
