THE city government will pilot special medical care for senior citizens with severe illnesses at some hospitals.

    Critically ill retirees, who are covered by the city’s medical insurance, can apply for special medial care if their illnesses require hospitalization of more than 60 days.

    The special medical care will be capped at 120 yuan a day. (Li Hao, Jia Feng)
