    2011-08-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

DATANG Group and Huachuang Wind Power Co. Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement in Qingdao recently.

According to the agreement, Huachuang became first manufacturing company to be bought out by Datang. Meanwhile, the city’s wind-powered electricity equipments industry has been developing smoothly and it plans to build a wind-powered electricity equipment industrial park to promote the city’s development in new energy.

Datang Group is a leading company in electricity generation. It has invested in areas such as thermoelectricity, wind-powered electricity and seawater desalination, in which investment of a wind-powered plant reached 2 billion yuan. Huachuang is a well-known company in wind-powered electricity equipment manufacturing and has built bases in cities such as Qingdao and Shenyang in Liaoning Province.

The two companies have started negotiating with the buyout since 2009 with support from the city’s government. They will share their technology, resources and markets.
