THE 2011-2012 Clipper Round-the-World Yacht Race was launched July 31 in England and 10 teams from nine countries and regions attended the world’s top regatta. The “Qingdao” yacht has started its fourth journey at the race.

    There are six Chinese sailors on the “Qingdao” yacht this year and local sailor Teng Jianghe will participate in the whole journey of the competition. The first leg of the competition will end in Brazil.

    The 10 teams will arrive in Qingdao in February next year. (Wang Yuanyuan, Sun Fei)
