Shenzhen Universiade organizers chose "UU" as the mascot not only because it was the first letter of Universiade, it was also developed from a smiling face.

There are all kinds of facial expressions of spectators, happy when cheering on their favorite athletes or teams and encouraging wonderful performances, concentrated and anxious in moments of suspense in thrilling events, and relaxed when their teams have competed.

No matter what facial expression, we know they are enjoying the competition and the gathering of youth from all over the world.
