THE province’s first coking facilities project, Qingdao Liverpool Environmental Protection Co. Ltd, with total investment of 200 million yuan, was set up in Jiaonan. The company will become a local leader with annual production value of 350 million yuan after it starts operation next year.

The advanced equipment used by the company can reduce about 30 percent of the ammonia and save 2.88 million yuan a year. It can also reduce 111,700 tons of carbon dioxide emission a year and 188,800 tons of waste water of a year.
